Should Police shoot knife wielding aggressors?

image001.jpg

This photo is the results of a knife wielding aggressor.I just want to say to all the misinformed cop haters out there, who always say, “Why did the police have to shoot him or her? He or she only had a: knife, hedge trimmers, vegetable peeler, bat, club or whatever. He didn’t have to be shot!. To that, I respond, Wrong!. If an officer tells you to drop your weapon, just drop it. If you’re an idiot, stupid, on crack, on drugs, on speed, mentally deranged or a combination of these they have the right and obligation to use that force necessary to stop you. No officer deserves what an officer could suffer just doing his or her job. If you attack an officer with a knife, they have a right to defend their life or the life of another. Period! This is vivid proof of how deadly people who are “only armed with a knife” can be. Some of the public feel that officers should try to disarm someone who is armed with a knife, but anyone who has had training in knife fighting will tell you – even if you win you are going to get cut. Keep this in the back of your mind next time you hear anti-police groups yelling their BS because an officer shot someone attacking him or her with a weapon.

The top 10 things people will always say about the deceased in order to generate more police haters.
10 They would give you the shirt off their back!
9 They were just starting to get to know their children!
8 They were going to go back to school to make a difference!
7 They were always so quiet!
6 He waived to me everyday!
5 When he got out he found the lord!
4 He was about to start a new job!
3 He would always talk to the youngsters who were involved in gangs!
2 He would never try to hurt anyone he loved people!

And the 1 thing the media and everyone always says
They were just turning their life around!

One Response to “Should Police shoot knife wielding aggressors?”

  1. Thanks for putting this out there. As the brother and brother-in-law of police officers, I have heard the stories and seen first hand the stress these brave men and women deal with every time they go on a “domestic” call.

As I’m sure most officers have similar stories, my brother was almost struck by a machete from the same woman he pulled a man away from choking.

Ironically my brother left a county police force to go to Afghanistan as part of a state department sponsored “policing initiative” and actually says he has been in a lesser number of life threatening situations there.

    Keep up the good work!!
